Justin Hymas believes that he is going to Heaven because of his faith in the one and only God Who is a Trinity of Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit.
He was raised to believe in Free Grace, although for almost all of his life he never learned how to know it was true and never thought about why someone would question it. At the age of 14, he started to read about Christian apologetics ("apologetics" are reasonable defenses of something; "Christian apologetics" are reasonable defenses of the Christian faith), and found ways to present apologetics to his peers in high school and college. Starting then, he was able to devote 6 years of his life to studying apologetics.
When he was about 20 years old, he was introduced to reasons to believe in Conditional Security. Being as skeptically-minded as he is, Justin realized he didn't have answers to support his belief in Eternal Security, and so became unsure about which was true. He was uncertain for about a year and a half, and studied the Bible during that time to find out what it truly teaches. Upon concluding that it teaches eternal security, he returned to his original opinion, with much more knowledge and a much deeper appreciation of both sides. Now, he wants to share resources which the Holy Spirit can use to provide Christians with assurance of salvation, and to strengthen anyone's faith that Christianity is true.
Justin Hymas loves meeting with people one-on-one, attending Bible studies, his church's young adults ministry, serving in kids' church and wherever he can (at church or not), his best friend, books, his family who includes his dog and 3 cats and more chickens than the rest of us combined, working hard, and a smile on the face of those around him. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with one golden-yellow lab named Wafer, 3 cats with very strong and very different personalities, and a bunch of chickens who he'll need to count to know their number -- and still needs to name.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Education. He has a private name of "True Lost Gospel of Peter Guy" because of his signature reason for believing in Jesus (found here).
